Hollow fiber membrane is a membrane that looks like a fiber and has a self-supporting effect. It is a type of asymmetric membrane, and its dense layer can be located on the outer surface of fibers, such as reverse osmosis membranes, or on the inner surface of fibers, such as microfiltration membranes, nanofiltration membranes, and ultrafiltration membranes. The membrane tube wall is filled with micropores, and the pore size is expressed in terms of molecular weight that can intercept substances. The molecular weight of the intercepted substances can reach several thousand to several hundred thousand. The raw water flows under pressure outside or inside the hollow fiber membrane, forming an external pressure type and an internal pressure type, respectively. There are two main types of hollow fiber membranes produced by Bona Bio, namely US20K and US1200HI-100. We will select suitable hollow fiber membranes for customers based on their different process requirements, treatment systems, and relevant technical requirements.
